Egon Schiele

Tulln 1890 - 1918 Vienna

Egon Schiele was one of the leading proponents of the Wiener Moderne and of Expressionism. His erotic drawings and watercolours often got him into trouble, and even into prison. He had already found great recognition when he succumbed to the Spanish flu at the age of 28.
