George Segal

Galerie Thomas Modern in Munich is presenting the first solo exhibition of works by the American artist George Segal since the touring exhibition in 1971. The son of Polish immigrants, who was born in New York in 1924, is represented in museums allover the world. Aesthetically impressive are his life-size sculptures, which are cast from real bodies and combined with real pawns, thus making us part of the work itself.
