Jim Dine•New Painting and Sculpture
The heart as the primal symbol of life accompanies Jim Dine through his work, as do the tools and elements from the everyday world of technology. In the paintings newly created for this exhibition, the artist combines these two elements into impressive works of dissonant harmony.
On Saturday, September 15, 12:30 p.m., Joana Ortmann, a culture journalist from the Bavarian Radio, will speak in English with Jim Dine in the gallery about his artistic work, his life, his love of hearts and of the city of Munich.
