Art Basel Online Viewing Room 2020

Galerie Thomas is pleased to present the new Online Viewing Room of Art Basel 2020. Alongside this event, a 'Walk Through Experience' will take place on June 17 at 2 p.m. as well as an Expert Talk on the topic 'Catalogue Raisonné Max Beckmann' on June 19 at 3 p.m.

Art Basel marks a very special highlight of our annual fair calendar – may it be because of the picturesque surrounding in the Swiss-German-French union of three charming countries or simply because so many interesting people come together to live their passion of art. It is probably the combination of all these that we look forward to enjoy every year again.

We all come with our own expectations to Basel, each one of us has their own associations and experiences and perhaps some beautiful memories. Being part of this and sharing this with you is a big part of why we love our profession so much. It is this privilege which we as gallery owners live for: to bring art to the people and enrich their lives.

What a shame that we can't share all of this with you this summer. So that you do not have to do without us completely - and we not without you - we are sending you a little taste of Art Basel for your home in this small catalogue. Be inspired and take a look back with us at some of our most beautiful booths through all the many years at Art Basel.

In addition to the digital fair, we are publishing a fair catalogue with works by Marc Chagall, Tony Cragg, Max Ernst, Lucio Fontana, Günther Förg, Sam Francis, Peter Halley, Alexej von Jawlensky, Anselm Kiefer, Yves Klein, Fernand Léger, Emil Nolde, Serge Poliakoff, Nicolas de Staël amongst others.
