30 Years August Macke House

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the August Macke House Museum in Bonn is hosting a museum festival on October 3 with free admission, guided tours of the new exhibition 'Douglas Swan - A Modern Classic' and a children's program.

In order to preserve the memory of August Macke, his work and the Rhenish Expressionists, the institution has now for three decades been concerned not only with the preservation of the painter's former residence and studio house but also with exhibition projects and the development of mediation concepts for the art of August Macke and his artistic environment.
