The new exhibition "BIG" opens on May 28 at the Sprengel Museum in Hanover with a selection of spectacular large formats from the museum's own collection.
The thematic arc ranges from colour field painting and geometric abstraction to expressive figuration, photorealism, and landscape depictions.
Among them is the spectacular "Here and Now" by Peter Halley.
The exhibition will run through September 12.
