Franz Marc leads historic 20th/21st Century London Evening Sale at Christie’s

Franz Marc’s 1913 masterpiece 'Die Füchse' (The Foxes) sold for £42,654,500 at Christie’s 20^th/21^st Century London Evening sale at the beginning of March. The record auction result was more than triple the previous auction record for the artist. The work had been restituted by the city of Düsseldorf to the heirs of Jewish businessman Kurt Grawi.
