'I am my style. Artist portraits in the Brücke and Blauer Reiter circle'

The current exhibition in Kochel is not only about an unprecedented kind of art but above all about the artists, who and how they were and how they looked and presented themselves. The painters of the Blaue Reiter (Blue Rider) and the Brücke (Bridge) broke with artistic traditions and a revolutionary form of art creation emerged, full of movement, color and emotion. 'I am my style. Artist portraits in the Brücke and Blauer Reiter circle' shows, among other things, diary entries, letters and portraits by Max Beckmann, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Gabriele Münter and Wassily Kandinsky.
