Jenny Holzer at Kunstsammlung NRW

The artworks of Jenny Holzer (*1950) are on display at the Kunstsammlung NRW in Düsseldorf until 6 August 2023. This monographic exhibition of the world-renowned US artist is the largest in Germany. Holzer works with various media and deals with socially critical texts and themes of technological change. Provocatively, she places slogans such as “Good timing is a sign of genius”, “Women love power”, “Every achievement requires sacrifice” on posters, T-shirts, benches or building facades. The artist herself provides guided tours of the exhibition on a regular basis.
