From September 25, 2020 to January 17, 2021, works from the collection of the Adolf Luther Foundation, Krefeld, will be on display at the Museum Pfalzgalerie in Kaiserslautern. As a supplement and in dialogue, positions of Adolf Luther's artist friends will be presented. The list ranges from Christo and Lucio Fontana to Yves Klein and Günther Uecker among others contemporaries of the important light and object artist. As one of the main representatives of Kinetic Art and Optical Art, his artistic endeavour was to make the invisible visible and to understand a reality that eludes pure reproduction. Adolf Luther used a wide variety of materials, including laser beams, mirrors and glass, to develop spatial design factors.
