STOA169

On a meadow on the banks of the river Ammer, in the Bavarian Pfaffenwinkel, an open columned hall has been created. Over 100 columns have been designed by internationally renowned artists such as Bernd Zimmer (initiator and founder), Peter Halley, Rebecca Horn, Ulrich Rückriem and Katja Strunz to support the common roof of the column art hall 'STOA169' and become an archive of contemporary art. The impressive project is intended as a sign of international understanding and solidarity.
