Tony Cragg: Symbiosis of drawing and sculpture

What is the significance of drawing in the 21^st century? This question, among others, is answered by the exhibition CRAGG, which is on view at the Pinakothek der Moderne through 7 May 2023.

Since the beginning of his career in the 1970s, Tony Cragg has created an extensive body of drawings in which he „thinks sculpture“. In the work of the British-German artist, the understanding of sculpture is expanded through drawing. The two arts complement each other in a symbiotic way.
